The Gomes WineHouse highlights the first edition of this wine with the same philosophy of wine, a wine to celebrate good food, good times and good friends, a wine for the simple pleasures of life. To express the character of the Douro in white, looking climbed in altitude vineyards of indigenous grape varieties, grown in soils from mica-tasse and presented the true character of this rocky valley. Either through fermentation in barrels of French car-worth or in stainless steel vats, we tried the complexity and lightness.
Tasting Notes
Vivid color, with intense mineral character and a strong citrus notes. On the palate it shows great acidity, with aromas of stone fruit and slightly smoky character which underlines the complexity of the wine. Long finish, salty, which makes the perfect wine to the table.
